Reflecting on World Refrigeration Day 2026: Cool Intelligence

The theme for 2026, “Cool Intelligence,” shone a spotlight on the expertise, technology and forward-thinking solutions behind refrigeration, air conditioning and heat pump systems – and the important role they play in creating a more efficient and sustainable future.

To mark World Refrigeration Day, throughout the week we asked members of our team to share what Cool Intelligence means to them. Their insights highlighted the breadth of knowledge, experience and problem-solving that goes into delivering effective cooling solutions every day.

World Refrigeration Day is also an opportunity to recognise the people working across the wider cooling sector. From engineers and technicians to designers, manufacturers and support teams, their knowledge and dedication help ensure the systems we rely on continue to perform safely, efficiently and sustainably.
