J & E Halls’ new range of Fusion Scroll Commercial Condensing Units are more energy efficient and quieter than their predecessors with all the convenience of installation and maintenance associated with a packaged unit. Low noise levels, reliability and size make the new Fusion Range of Scroll Commercial Condensing Units ideal for the convenience store market.
J & E Hall regional sales’ manager Paul McDermott says that the Fusion range is the right choice for convenience stores situated in residential areas: “Not only are scroll compressors more efficient than reciprocating compressors but they are much quieter. This combined with our new, improved polyurethane insulation keeps noise levels to a minimum.”
In designing the new Fusion Scroll Commercial Condensing Unit range, J & E Hall recognised that the units must be easy to install and pleasing on the eye. Paul explained: “We have made a point of listening to what are customers our saying on what they expect of a refrigeration system. They tell us that commercial condensing units must be engineer-friendly. The Fusion is a fine example of this – the units have externally mounted service valves and Rotolock connections. They are made of powder-coated steel, are robust and look good too.”
The Fusion Scroll completes the J & E Hall range of commercial condensing units. The Fusion Scroll uses the highly reliable Copeland scroll compressor and runs on R404A, R407C or R134a refrigerant. The units are sold complete with all components fitted during manufacture saving the installer time and money. This includes:
• liquid receiver with fusible plug
• adjustable HP/LP pressure safety switch
• liquid line with sight glass and filter drier factory fitted
• an IP54 rated control panel
• fan speed controller
• crankcase heater
• anti-corrosion blue fines for improved condenser efficiency
• isolator with integrated MCB for improved electrical layout
• hexagon head screws and stainless steel washers for easy removal of access panels

Size wise the Fusion Scroll range is also suited to the convenience store sector. The smallest model is only 650mm high, 1109mm long and 478mm deep – and weighs just 88kgs.
