Acson installed at Queensway Market
Keeping customers cool in the summer and warm in the winter at the Queensway Market in West London are nine Acson ceiling-suspended air conditioning units from J & E Hall. Installed by Refrigair of Wallington, Surrey, the Acson system, featuring a mixture of R5CM 40/50DR and R5CM62CR units, is ideal for the busy market in Bayswater boasting a cosmopolitan array of goods and services from many countries.

Refrigair director Jeremy Gunn said: “The management company running the market wanted a versatile system offering good value for money. The slimline Acson units fit the bill in the narrow confines of the indoor market environment which at times can be crowded and therefore gets very warm. Not only do they look good but they also play an important role in keeping customers happy during the market opening hours of 10am to 10pm.”

Installing the Acson system, running on refrigerant R410A, was a straightforward job for the Refrigair team. Much of the work took place early in the morning or at weekends to avoid inconveniencing shoppers.

The ceiling-suspended units are designed with the option of installing below the ceiling or on the floor. They are equipped with two-way discharge to provide excellent air distribution for cooling and heating. Automatic air swing enables the air to be evenly distributed.
