New Rescroll Compressor Unveiled
J & E Hall International has unveiled what’s believed to be the first ever remanufactured scroll compressor.  The new Rescroll unit is environmentally conscious and conforms to the WEEE Directive on the disposal of electrical equipment. It also allows the customer to buy an “as new” scroll compressor – with all the benefits of a new one – but at a lower price.

The remanufactured scroll compressor concept has taken two years to develop at the state of the art J & E Hall International Technology Centre in Dartford. Halls have focused their renowned research and development expertise on the project to deliver this eco-friendly product.

J & E Hall International marketing director Tony Wright said: “Thousands of scroll compressors are disposed of unnecessarily every year. This can be harmful to the environment and the new Rescroll puts an end to this wasteful practice. It’s easy for the customer to buy a new Rescroll compressor. All they have to do is place an order with us and the ‘as new’ Rescroll compressor is delivered to their workplace in a recycled materials’ box. They then put their old scroll in the now empty recycle box and return it to Halls.”

The Rescroll from Halls provides “as new” performance at a cost the environment can better afford. To deliver this eco-friendly product, a comprehensive remanufacturing process takes place at the company’s compressor plant. Stringent testing is performed to ensure that the Rescroll is delivered to the customer as new. A patent for the new rescroll compressor is pending.
