J & E Hall Service

Planned Preventative Maintenance

The complexity of refrigeration/HVAC systems and legislation demands that all equipment receives regular maintenance by skilled engineers if peak performance is to be maintained.

Planned Preventative Maintenance is the service option recommended for not only J & E Hall products but also other manufacturer’s equipment. By ensuring that plants run at optimum efficiency and systems are maintained at their original design specifications, unplanned downtime can be virtually eliminated.

Technology plays a major part in J & E Hall’s approach to system care. Installations with SCADA capability allow our engineers to monitor and carry out remote fault diagnosis 24 hours a day.

Normally, this type of work is carried out under the terms of a Maintenance Contract, where in return for an annual fee, inspections, together with full mechanical and electrical maintenance, will be conducted at agreed intervals throughout the year. These inspections will also include the regular measurement and recording of the system performance and efficiency in order that any adverse trends may be identified and remedial action taken. The service intervals will be agreed at the commencement of the contract.

Work is always carried out in accordance with our ISO 9001 Quality Procedure and the Refrigeration Industry Codes of Practice and is routinely checked and monitored by local J & E Hall Service Managers.
